The Vice President of General Administration at Sinte Gleska University plays a vital leadership role in overseeing the university’s operational infrastructure and support services. This position is responsible for managing campus facilities, safety and security, transportation, food services, and other essential operations that ensure a safe and efficient learning environment. Working collaboratively with university leadership and staff, the Vice President helps plan and implement facility improvements, oversee construction and maintenance projects, and ensure compliance with federal safety and regulatory standards. Through strategic planning and resource management, this role supports the university’s mission by maintaining a strong, sustainable campus that serves students, faculty, and the Sicangu Lakota Oyate community.

​Strategic Leadership & Support

  • Strategic Leadership: Participates in the overall management of the university, including the development and execution of strategic plans and position papers.

  • Executive Support: Executes special projects as assigned by the President or Executive Vice President to further the mission of the university.

Leadership:

  • Departmental Supervision: Directly oversees a wide range of critical divisions:

    • Facilities & Maintenance: General upkeep, environmental services, and campus infrastructure.

    • Campus Safety: Oversight of security operations to ensure a safe learning environment.

    • Student Support Services: Management of university transportation and food services.

    • Technology & Systems: Oversight of MIS, database management, and university-wide technology needs.

    • Community Services: Management of campus Day Care/Child Care facilities.
