Marella T. Burch, MM
Was selected as the new Chief Financial Officer for Sinte Gleska University.
Ms. Marella T Little Brave Burch is an enrolled Rosebud Sioux Tribal member from the district Corn Creek/Norris/Parmalee area. She has her Masters Degree in Business Management from the National American University, Rapid City, South Dakota. She also received her B.S. Degree in Business Administration from the Oglala Lakota College, Kyle, South Dakota. She has over 10 years working with Tribal Organizations located respectfully in South Dakota and Wyoming. She excels in working with Bureau of Indian Affairs and Bureau of Indian Education Grants, Dept of Education, Health & Human Services Grants, and State of South Dakota grants. ​
​Marella’s father was Manley A Little Brave enrolled member of Rosebud Sioux Tribe, and her mother was Evelyn R Lone Elk New enrolled member of Oglala Sioux Tribe. She grew up with her mother’s family in the Wakpamni district located in Pine Ridge, South Dakota, until she married and relocated to Wyoming 16 years ago. Marella is 57 years old has one (1) daughter and four (4) grand children and has returned home to the Oyate’ Pi (People) of Rosebud Sioux Tribe. Marella loves coffee, cats, chocolate, accounting and the Creator.
