Financial Aid is designed to support the mission of building a healthy tribal nation by ensuring education is accessible to the Sicangu Lakota Oyate and surrounding communities.

Sinte Gleska is a Title IV-eligible institution, meaning students can access federal grants, work-study, and loans. However, the university emphasizes "legitimate discounts"—grants and scholarships—over loans to reduce student debt. Aid is primarily determined by financial need as calculated through the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)
