Provide daily governance of the University's fiscal management policy. Ensure that the work is
completed in a timely manner. Ensure University is audit ready.
Requirements
Duties & Responsibilities:
Prepare files for Audits.
Overseeing proper accounts regarding fixed assets and Equipment Accounts
Assist Property and supply with documenting, tagging of Equipment, Inventories of all SGU Departments.
Assist in updated the Procurement/Fixed Assets Policies as needed
Maintain strict confidentiality of finance officefiles/information.
Other related duties as assigned in the performance of his/her responsibilities and as mutually agreed upon to the benefit of Sinte Gleska University.
Qualifications & Experience:
AA Degree in Business, or an equivalent combination of both training and experience.
Three years of experience in the Finance field.
Be a team player, but also being self-motivated is key, this is to ensure that all functions of the Finance office run smoothly & efficiently.
Individual must have knowledge of: general mathematics, accounting software, general office equipment, and computer proficient, specifically working well with Microsoft Office programs.
Individuals must have organizational skills, an eye for detail, can work well under pressure.
Individual must be professional and courteous as you will be working with students, staff, faculty and vendors.
