SGU Covid – 19 Updates and Reminders Please follow these recommendations from the Great Plains Epidemiology Center to continue to stay as protected as possible during this holiday season.
Covid testing will not be available at the SGU campus December 23, 2021 through January 2, 2022. Covid testing will still be available at the local clinics and the Indian Health Service Comprehensive Health Facility during this time frame. To register for classes in January you must be up to date with your Covid vaccinations, this includes the booster that is due 6 months after the last dose of your Covid vaccination. For example, if you had your last dose of Covid vaccine on May 1, 2021, you would be due for a booster on November 1, 2021. If you are past the 6-month period, you can still go in and get a booster from one of the local clinics or the Indian Health Service Comprehensive Health Facility. Please continue to be good relatives to protect those around us who cannot get the vaccine because they are under 5 years old or have a medical reason prohibiting them from getting vaccinated. Covid - 19 is not done with us yet, we cannot let our guards down.
