Spring 2023 Academic Calendar & Class Schedule
This page is to help new and returning students with registration.
We will be adding information regularly during every new Registration period so please check back often.

Please read the following thoroughly. We want to make sure we have communicated these things to you as clearly as possible so you can have a smooth first week of classes.

Registered Yet?: (skip if you've registered with an advisor)
    + Note: If you did not complete our pre-registration survey, you are not eligible to register this semester. 
    + If you DID complete the pre-regisration survey but have NOT spoken with an advisor to pick out your classes, you are almost out of time. Fri at 4pm is the deadline - if you miss this you have to wait another semester.

Missing Paperwork? Don't get dropped!!
    + Many students still have paperwork that needs to be turned in to the Registrar's office so that your file can be updated. Please check your email to see if you are missing anything. Look for an email from deane.oliver@sintegleska.edu
    + New students (including transfers) who have not completed enrollment paperwork (application, release of information, HS transcript,  transfer transcripts, copy of ID) will not be enrolled in classes this semester if the paperwork is not in by 4pm on Friday. 
    + Returning students who just need updated paperwork but have complete files will have until the end of the add/drop period to send theirs in (Feb 10) or they will not be allowed to continue in classes.

Welcome Email for Your Classes
   + Students will receive a welcome email from instructors this weekend telling them how to get into their classes and how to attend week on.
   + You WILL need access to your SGU email to access the welcome email

Your Logins and Passwords
    + A copy of your logins and passwords for your SGU email, JICS, and Google Email will be emailed to your personal email account on Saturday morning.


Laptop Pick-up 
    + If you have never recieved a laptop from SGU and are enrolled in a degree program at SGU, you can pick up a laptop starting on Tues, Jan 23.
    + To set up a pick-up time, go to https://sintegleska.on.spiceworks.com/portal and they will be available in the tech building 
    + Laptops must be signed out in person by the student. Relatives or friends cannot pick the up nor can we mail them out.
    + If you don't have a laptop for Week 1 classes, please find another way to attend. Even attending on your 

New Student Orientation
    + All first-time college students (those with 3 or fewer college credits) are encouraged to come to the New Student Orientation on Friday, Jan 20 at 9:30 am in the Mike Benge Building
    + To be eligible for the $500 cash scholarship, you must attend the whole day and complete the requirements

Student Association

    + We're looking for leaders! Fill out an application today to run for President, Vice President, Secretary, or Treasurer!
    + Applications will be accepted through Thurs, Jan 26
    + The ballots will be open the week of Jan 28 - Feb 2
