Road Construction Update

7/30/2019

This is an update on the Road construction happening around and affecting the Lake Campus traffic.  Construction has begun on the road from the Commodity Building to the Apartments.  This road is closed to all traffic effective immediately.  The East Road is open for traffic at this time so we can access the Administration and other buildings from this route.  The road is fantastic leading to the Lake Campus.  No more pot holes.  Also to get to the Multi-Purpose Building, you will have to take the east entrance road into the lake campus.  The road leading into the Tech building has been completed and is open for 2 way traffic up to the commodity building.  Weather permitting, we are shooting to have the entire project done before graduation.

  • Description details:

There are increasing opportunities in Internet marketing as businesses everywhere expand their online presence. This means that this industry is also becoming increasingly competitive. Today, a strong education is more necessary than ever to help ensure success in this field.
Rise, a leader in Internet marketing, encourages students of all backgrounds to pursue their dreams to attain degrees in various science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) disciplines.
Statistics show that STEM jobs will grow 13% from 2017 to 2027.
Median earnings for U.S. STEM jobs are $38.85 per hour, while median earnings in all other U.S. fields are just $19.30 per hour.
U.S. STEM jobs also come with significantly higher wages than the national average: The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that the national average wage for STEM jobs was $87,570, whereas the national average wage for non-STEM jobs was just $45,700.
That’s why we came up with a scholarship to support hard-working students in their ambitious goals for a better career and future. Through the Rise STEM Scholarship, the winning student receives $1,000 toward his or her degree. We also award $250 book scholarships to each of the two runners-up.
    How Students Can Qualify
Undergraduate or graduate students interested in applying for our scholarship have to major in a STEM subject and attend an accredited college or university.
