Indian Country has lost a great leader in the passing of Dave Gipp. We owe him a huge debt of gratitude for his involvement and leadership in speaking, writing, and in our putting together the extraordinary tribal college and university movement. The TCU movement is redefining and restructuring not only education, but Indian Country in general. It is changing the course of the future for our betterment. The spirit world has gained and will welcome a tremendous spirit who we know will continue to provide us with memory, direction, strength, courage and continued fun in strengthening who we are. Love you brother. Will miss you and thanks for the decades of friendship and the many happy times we knew and shared. Doksa ake. Aho. Waste yelo kola. We wish his family strength and comfort in their loss and offer our prayers for healing. Lionel R. Bordeaux Stipends were mailed yesterday for students who attended the SGU summer sessions. You might want to check your mail. Call Jock if any issues.
