From MIS Director Tom Cox:
AIHEC, in partnership with Navajo Technical University, has been funded by the National Science Foundation to work with all accredited TCUs to conduct a thorough review of the current status of the technology infrastructure at SGU. Their project team, which includes nationally-recognized experts in information technology systems, will work with us to identify the human and physical resources necessary to take full advantage of current technologies to support (and strengthen) our education and research programs. This project will provide SGU information essential for developing and implementing a sustainable technology plan. This plan is required to apply to the NSF for IT infrastructure funding. The project team will be here next Tuesday, May 14 from 8:00-5:00PM. Please review the agenda and be prepared in case one of the team members would like to speak with you. During the afternoon, they will like to meet students, faculty and staff. Those meetings will be held at the Student Services building. I will send out an updated agenda at the end of the week.
