About the Role

The Sinte Gleska University Greenhouse Intern will be responsible to assist the Greenhouse
Manager with all functions of the greenhouse. This is a seasonal position at 20 hours per week for 30 weeks.

Requirements

1. Help plant and maintain community and college gardens.

2. Help organize an annual farmer market.

3. Help coordinate and maintain campus beautification projects.

4. Help with sales and promotion of the SGU greenhouse.

5. Help with seasonal planting and transplanting.

6. Help with canning and processing foods for the lunch program.

7. Help “put all gardens to bed” in the fall.

8. Help with trees moving in fall.

9. Help with gardening & food preservation classes.
