From Provost Phil Baird:
I am happy to report that the SGU Antelope Lake Campus Roads construction project will begin this month and continue through the summer. The projected date for substantial completion of the new roads is the end of the August 2019. Traffic entries onto the SGU Antelope Lake campus will be impacted by the project, including the Multi-purpose building and the Sicangu Lakota Heritage Museum. The road to the SGU Technology Building will not be impacted. SGU Campus Safety Director Leo McCauley will be the point of contact for summer traffic control and general public safety. Brian Bordeaux will be involved with monitoring construction progress along with Travis Whirlwind Soldier. We anticipate that the prime contractor will be setting up equipment operations on the east end of the Antelope Lake campus. As more information becomes available, we will inform SGU employees and the general public.
