What you can Do
At SGU Maggie MacKichan Hey! Did you know that you can enroll at Sinte Gleska University without a high school diploma? All you need is a G.E.D. certificate. Don’t have a G.E.D.? You can earn one at Sinte Gleska’s Adult Basic Education program. It is free to everyone over 18 years of age. The ABE program is located one block south of the Dollar Store in Mission. There you will find tutors who can help you prepare to take the GED test. They provide study materials, a warm comfortable place to study, and friendly tutors to assist you. The latest technology is available to help you, using YouTube, Aztec, Kahn’s Academy, and other websites. You can work at your own pace, on your own schedule. Jim Marshall is the director and chief examiner. Denise One Star is assistant examiner, with Reg Reifel and Shannon Grant, tutors. Hours are Monday-Thursday 8-5, Friday 8- noon, year round. Bring an unexpired government issued ID (tribal, driver’s license) to sign up. For more information call 856-8229.
