WHAT IS VOCATIONAL REHABILITATION?
We are a collaborative program that helps individuals with disabilities to become employees in the competitive work force.
The Sicangu Vocational Rehabilitation Pro- gram is a leader in providing disability related services to assist people with employment opportunities.
Vocational rehabilitation offers assistance to those individuals and a team consisting of your rehabilitation staff to review your health records and other patient information.

HOW DOES VOCATIONAL REHABILITATION WORK?
You and your counselor will develop and Individualized Plan for employment (IPE). This written agreement will list services that you and your counselor have decided will assist you to obtain your employment goal. You may need to share the costs of some services, but you and your counselor will talk about services before they begin.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
An individual may be eligible who meets the criteria:

  • Enrolled member of a Federally Recognized Tribe

  • Physically resides on the Rosebud Sioux Indian Reservation

  • Has a physical, mental or emotional disability.

  • Limits from the disability keeps the individual from preparing for, finding or maintaining employment.

ELIGIBILITY DETERMINATION PROCESS:
