As per approval by the SGU President, Sinte Gleska University will be closed on Monday-Wednesday, October 19-21st in response to the proposed COVID measure by the Rosebud Sioux Tribe.
· Faculty will be advised by the SGU Academic Vice President that they can continue OL instruction from their homes during this period. · The only essential staff will be campus security to protect University assets. · All SGU buildings will be locked down during this period. · Administrative leave will be approved for employees. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during these challenging times. Stay home and be safe.

Accreditation and Sinte Gleska University – A Short History
Sinte Gleska University has been accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC – formerly the North Central Association) since 1983. Because SGU is accredited, colleges and universities across the United States will review courses that students take at SGU and will consider them for transfer.
