Associate of Arts

The Associate of Arts degree in Elementary Education requires completing 65 credit hours with emphasis on general education. This course of study would be helpful for teacher aids or other paraprofessionals working in the area of education. This program is designed for students interested in transferring to another college or university to complete a bachelors degree in education.
An Associate of Arts program in Education does not satisfy the requirement for a teaching certificate.
