ADULT BASIC EDUCATION
The ABE program provides adults with relevant educational activities and basic skills. Our overall goal is to develop and deliver a system of education that is meaningful, useful and accessible for all who desire to acquire additional skills and knowledge. The ABE program further exists to offer adults who have less than a high school diploma an opportunity to work towards obtaining a GED high school equivalency credential.
The ABE program utilizes the results of the TABE pre-tests to create an individualized study plan and provide one-on-one instruction in the basic skills of math, reading and writing. The ABE program provides the solid foundation of basic skills required for preparation to take the GED tests.
